Cinnamon Apples
Ingredients
8-10 Medium or Small Jonathan or Golden Delicious Apples
2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Water
⅓ Cup Red Hots (cinnamon candies)
Red Food Coloring
Directions
① Peel and core apples.
② Cut into desired size pieces.
③ Cook until tender in syrup made from sugar, water, red hots, and a drop or two of red food coloring.
④ Chill and serve.
Particularly good served with a pork side dish
