Crunchy Punch
Ingredients
(3) 3-oz. packages Jello - use any color you want, I generally use strawberry
9 Cups Boiling Water
4 Cups Sugar
4 Cups Water (to put with sugar to dissolve it)
1 can frozen lemonade and add water to make 16-oz. (or 2 cups)
(2) 46-oz. Pineapple Juice
6 Quarts Ginger Ale (you can also use 7-Up or Sprite)
Directions
① Dissolve Jello in boiling water.
② Combine sugar and water bring to a quick boil.
③ Add to Jello mixture, set aside to cool.
④ When cool, add lemonade mixture and cans of pineapple juice. Mix well.
⑤ Place in containers to freeze. This freezes well in milk jugs or open pitchers as long as the frozen punch can slide out easily.
⑥ Freeze (allow plenty of time for the punch to freeze solid).
⑦ Set punch out to soften for approximately 2 or 3 hours before serving time.
⑧ Empty the puree into a punch bowl. If using milk jugs, the top part of the jug can be cut off. Jugs or pitchers can be placed in warm water if the mixture does not slide out easily into the punch bowl.
⑨ The puree will still be in a large solid chunk. Add ginger ale or 7-Up or Sprite.
⑩ Break up with knife.
⑪ Mix until it is a slush and serve.
