Hawaiian Ham Balls

Ingredients


1 Egg
2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
2 Tablespoons Milk
1 Cup Pineapple Juice
¾ Cup Fine Dry Bread Crumbs
¼ Cup Cider Vinegar
⅛ teaspoon Pepper
2 Tablespoons Sugar
1 lb. (3 cups) Ground Cooked Ham
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons Salad Oil
1 Tablespoon Butter or Margarine
1 Beef Bouillon Cube

Directions


Combine egg, milk, crumbs, and pepper.
Add ham, mix well and shape into 1-inch balls (about 60).
Brown meatballs, a few at a time, in oil; remove from fry pan.
Stir cornstarch into drippings; add pineapple juice, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, butter, and bouillon cube.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture is thick and bubbly.
Add the meat balls; simmer 5 to 7 minutes, or until heated thoroughly.
Serve in crockpot with wooden picks.
Makes 60 ham balls.
